We
are pleased that you have registered your child(ren) at Revelstoke Christian
School for the 2007-08
school year. Your child is very blessed to receive the gift of a traditional
Christ-Centered education. If you are a newly registered family, we ask you to read
all documents, which include the handbooks and the application form, and sign
where appropriate. If you are a returning family, we urge you to reread the
handbooks to reaffirm your family’s commitment to the goals, policies and
procedures of the Revelstoke
Christian School.
The
documents we require to complete your child’s registration/re-registration are HIGHLIGHTED
below. Please return those documents only to the school office by June
1st, 2007.
Copy of Birth Certificate
Copy
of the two most recent report cards (if applicable)
Care
card number
Medical
alerts/family doctor contact/ emergency contact information
After
all required documentation has been received; New Applicants will be contacted
to meet with the Principal and a Board Member. This interview provides an
opportunity for the school and family to discuss the school and to ensure there
is an agreement between the family and the school in relation to values and
expectations. This is a great opportunity
to ask any questions you may have concerning the school. Please note that both parents and student(s)
should attend this interview.
The
school will notify you soon after the interview regarding your
application. If there are exceptional
circumstances requiring Board attention, a decision will be made at the next
Board meeting and you will be notified by mail of the Board’s decision.
